QUALIFICATIONS

CLIMBING WALL LEADING AWARD (CWLA)

This day long course is for experienced SPA or CWA qualified climbing instructors who wish to teach lead climbing on artificial climbing walls. Candidates must be able to lead climb F6a onsight and take good falls on the lead. The course looks at risk assessment, coaching, teaching strategies and duty of care as well as falling and dynamic belaying.
