SINGLE PITCH AWARD (SPA)

This qualification is aimed at people who would like to instruct groups climbing and abseiling in an outdoor single pitch environment. The course focuses on personal climbing skills and the safe management of groups on natural cliffs.

Prior to attending a training course candidates must be 18 years or over, have at least 12 months rock climbing experience and be registered with Mountain Leader Training England (MLTE).

Prior to attending an assessment, candidates must have logged adequate experience, as required by Mountain Leader Training England (MLTE).
